This morning as I had my prayer Bible open I found myself feeling completely overwhelmed by some issues that came up recently. I’m not one to pray for myself as I prefer to pray for others but I am learning to pray for my needs as well. Psalm 61:1-2 speaks of asking the Lord to attend to our prayers and when our hearts are overwhelmed to lead us to the rock that is higher than us. So I plan on memorizing these verses and I will write them out on an index card and tape it to my bathroom mirror.
