Well I honestly thought that I would have gotten Little Women finished by now but I’m only on chapter 9. Not only am I reading Little Women but I’m also reading Anne of the Island which is part of the Anne of Green Gables series. This reading multiple books at a time is not something I’m proud of. Maybe it’s a case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) if I don’t read more than one book at a time. Of course I tell myself at least they are wholesome books and nothing offensive in them.
There was one book I started to read called The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek. I thought what could possibly go wrong about a traveling librarian set during The Great Depression? Three chapters in I was done and this was a DNF (did not finish) book. I really thought it was going to be something I would enjoy but there were a couple of incidents in the book that caused my jaw to drop and I said nope and threw it in the garbage!
I’m enjoying Anne of the Island a lot. As for Little Women I’m going to keep on reading it. Maybe I will finish in May? After all the author is Louisa “May” Alcott!😃
