‘WWHL’: Austen Kroll Says Craig Conover Has “Come To Terms” With Paige DeSorbo Moving On

Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo‘s breakup was a hot topic on Thursday night’s (Jan. 30) episode of Watch What Happens Live, which featured Conover’s Southern Charm co-stars Patricia Altschul and Austen Kroll.

Weeks after DeSorbo announced her split from Conover, she was spotted with Joe D’Amelio at an Eagles game. Since then, there have been reports that they also spent New Year’s Eve together and recently vacationed in Miami.

Kroll, who co-hosts the Pillows and Beers podcast with Conover, said his friend has “come to terms” with the fact that DeSorbo has allegedly moved on with another man.

“I don’t think that those are rumors,” he said on Watch What Happens Live. “I think that they have been substantiated and I think that Craig knows as such. He didn’t know for a minute. But yeah, I think he has fully come to terms with that — that’s not a rumor.”

According to Kroll, he could tell something was going on with Conover and DeSorbo for a while before they actually broke up, which happened right before the holidays.

“Was I surprised? I feel like — I know it’s a blah kind of answer — but the writing was on the wall,” he said. “I knew something was amiss for a month or so before I heard this news.”

Altschul also wasn’t surprised by their split — but what might shock fans is that she compared DeSorbo to Conover’s ex-girlfriend Naomie Olindo.

“I thought that Paige was mean to Craig,” she said. “If you think back, Naomie was mean to Craig. And I think he deserves somebody who will really love and cherish him.”

Kroll agreed that DeSorbo was “definitely the dominant person in the relationship,” to which WWHL host Andy Cohen jokingly suggested, “Maybe Craig’s a bottom.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
