Jimmy Kimmel joked Will Smith should have slapped Kanye West over his wife Bianca Censori‘s sheer 2025 Grammys dress.
“Another rodent came out of his hole to hit the red carpet at the Grammys last night,” the comedian said during his monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday.
“None other than Kanye West, who showed up to take photos — he showed up for the red carpet only — with his wife, who caused quite a stir. She was wearing nothing,” he added.
“This shows you just how much times have changed. Before Trump, this would’ve been our whole monologue tonight. Now it’s, like, the ninth craziest thing that happened this weekend.”
Kimmel, 57, pointed out that the “whole country melted down” when Janet Jackson’s breast popped out for a millisecond during her 2004 Super Bowl performance.
“Now a completely nude woman walks the red carpet at the Grammys, they’re yelling, ‘Bianca, over here on the right! Please,’” he said.
The late-night host then told the audience that Smith, 56, was also on the Grammys red carpet after being banned for 10 years by the Oscars for slapping Chris Rock in 2022.
“The Grammys, they had him onstage honoring Quincy Jones,” he said.
“And you know what’s a shame? All he had to do was run out on that red carpet and slap Kanye. I think all would be forgiven. He would be hosting the Oscars next year.”
Censori, 30, made headlines Sunday when she made her red carpet debut alongside her husband, West, 47.
When the couple, who tied the knot in December 2022, posed, the model removed her fur coat to reveal that she was wearing nothing under her completely sheer dress.
Censori paired her look with clear flip-flop heels and wore her hair in a low slicked-back bun.
Several stars took issue with what the Australia native wore to music’s biggest night.
Meghan McCain wrote in a since-deleted X post that she believed Censori was a “hostage” and a “victim” of the “Donda” rapper.
Meanwhile, Armie Hammer’s ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers, slammed West, saying the stunt was a “humiliation ritual” and an example of “misogyny and control at its finest.”
