Who Won The Private Island on Beast Games?

Episode 5 of Beast Games, the Prime Video reality show starring YouTube impresario MrBeast, kicks off with nine contestants playing hide and seek with Navy SEALs, all with the same goal—to win a $1.8 million private island called La Vivienda Island

The players cover themselves in leaves and duck inside caves and trees to camouflage themselves in the first challenge. One woman voluntarily hides in the middle of the danger zone, assuming the SEALs would never suspect someone would be that risky (she was correct). Although it takes the SEALs some time to identify the players, in the end, a contestant’s blue shirt peeks through on the ground, and she is eliminated.

The remaining eight contestants move onto a bocce ball challenge, only the bocce ball in this instance is actually a coconut. The two whose balls are furthest from a target red line are immediately sent home.

Next, the competitors who decided not to try for the island vote on which of the remaining six should be sent home. It’s a close call, but the player eliminated receives 17 votes to leave.

Five contestants are left—and only four giant boxes with check marks inside. The hip hop artist Lil Yachty appears out of nowhere to facilitate the challenge. The group nominates a captain to hide one “X” inside of a box. The remaining players must either choose to trust him to lead them to the safe boxes or leave it up to fate. Most of them are hesitant to put their faith in the captain.

The final four are presented with a bribe on a pirate ship: $450,000 in gold to leave the competition. The money is offered in order of the people who selected the boxes. The first person excitedly accepts before anyone else gets a chance.

Only three remain: they must either work together or manipulate each other in pursuit of the “immunity coconut” at the end of 15 tiles. Whoever reaches the coconut first gets to choose the finalist who comes along with them.

For the last challenge, the players must hide the deed to the island in one of two briefcases. The player standing on the opposite side has to choose a briefcase and hope it’s the correct one. Whoever has two briefcases with deeds inside wins the island.

So, who won MrBeast’s private island on Beast Games?

Alas, Episode 5 ends on a cliffhanger, so you’ll have to wait until Beast Games Episode 6, which airs next Thursday, January 16, when the winner of the island will be revealed. Or will it? After five episodes, the only thing we know for certain is that the twisted mind of MrBeast never rests.
