When The Bachelor premiered on January 27, Season 29 lead Grant Ellis welcomed 25 eligible bachelorettes to the Bachelor Mansion in hopes of finding his future wife. But only one of those lovely ladies had him ready to invest in Rosetta Stone: Carolina Quixano.
Carolina, a 28-year-old public relations producer from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, started speaking Spanish shortly after she got out of the limo and had some fun with Grant, well aware that he didn’t understand what she was saying.
In her Night 1 intro video, Carolina shared that she lived in Puerto Rico until she was a teenager and moved to the United States because “it felt like such a world of opportunities.” She said her loved ones would describe her as “authentic, silly, lighthearted, and someone who will make a joke out of anything.” She also has a dog, which is a green flag in Grant’s book. And she memorably took a moment of silence after revealing her last boyfriend was a DJ, which proved she has a personality!
So who is Carolina Quixano on The Bachelor? And how long does Carolina stick around this season? We’ve got answers. Here’s everything to know about Grant’s Season 29 contestant Carolina Quixano, including her Bachelor bio, age, hometown, Instagram account, and more.
Who Is Carolina Quixano On The Bachelor?
According to Carolina’s official Bachelor bio, the 28-year-old public relations producer from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico “is a bold beauty who isn’t afraid to go after what she wants or speak her mind (in English, Spanish or French).”
“Carolina is super adventurous and loves to be the life of the party,” her bio continues. “She wants her relationship to feel like a movie and is hopeful to find a man who can live up to her ≈ She’s ready to settle down with someone who is ambitious and honest, and is excited to meet our Bachelor. Will Carolina catch the ‘Love Bug’ with Grant? Sure hope so!”
And now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for: Carolina’s fun facts!
- Carolina describes her vibe as “cool grandma.”
- Carolina’s pet peeve is menus with no photos.
- Carolina dreams of being roasted by Nikki Glaser.
When Carolina and Grant caught up during Night 1, the two bonded over how important their families are to them. Though Grant wanted to kiss her, he told cameras he could tell she “didn’t want to jump in that far on the first night.” By Episode 2, however, the lips were locking.
Much to the dismay of her fellow contestants, after Carolina won the group date singing contest, she and Grant passionately made out in front of everyone while being serenaded by Mario. Later at the after party, the vibes were way off, and the women let Carolina know how hard it was to watch her and Grant’s PDA. Grant spent most of the night checking in with the ladies, while Carolina stressed out over the negativity surrounding their time together.
When she finally confronted Grant, he assured her she didn’t do anything wrong and told her to talk to him if she got additional pushback. The two ended the week feeling like they had a genuine connection, but based on previews, we know we haven’t seen the last of the Carolina drama…
