Pantera just announced they’re embarking on what they’re calling the ‘Heaviest Tour of the Summer’ with special guest Amon Amarth and another act to be announced at a later date.
From July through September, the metal icons will hit amphitheaters, music centers and arenas. Along the way, they’ll make three New York and New Jersey stops.
First, Phil Anselmo and co. are slated to drop into Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater on Saturday, July 26. After that, Pantera has plans to melt faces at Saratoga Springs’ Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Monday, July 28 and Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on Thursday, July 31.
At all shows, Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante will honor the legacy of late members Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul.
“This is no tribute band — Philip and I get to play these songs of ours that we haven’t played in 23 years,” Brown said in an interview with Rolling Stone Australia. “…to be able to do that and connect with the enormity of what’s happened is just extraordinarily f—ing insane, you know?”
In addition to the tour, Pantera will also lend their talents to Metallica’s recently-extended ‘M72 Tour’ and take part in Black Sabath’s final concert along with Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax and more.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Pantera shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the ‘Heaviest Tour of the Summer’ is Friday, Feb. 28.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Metallica tour 2025
There’s no end in sight for ‘M72.’
Metallica’s tour, which initially began in November 2022, will run from April through June this year. This time around, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, and co. are putting on six “no repeat weekends” — which means either Thursday and Saturday or Friday and Sunday shows with different set lists and opening acts — and six “one night only” concerts.

Black Sabbath farewell concert 2025
On July 5, Black Sabbath is going out with a bang.
That day, the heavy metal pioneers will play their swan song at an all-day event they’re calling ‘Back To The Beginning.’ Acts set to join them — excluding the aforementioned biggies — include Metallica, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains and Mastodon.
Additional special guests include The Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan, Guns ‘n Roses’ Slash and Duff McKagan, Korn’s Jonathan Davis, Sleep Token and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, who is also serving as ‘Back to the Beginning’s’ musical director.
“This will be the greatest heavy metal show ever,” he said.
