What Time Is Trump’s Speech Tonight? How To Watch Donald Trump Speaking To Congress Live

President Donald Trump will be addressing Congress for the first time in his second term this evening to lay out his plan for the next four years of his administration.

A senior administration official said the theme of Trump’s speech will be “the renewal of the American Dream,” per NBC News. He is reportedly expected to discuss tariffs, immigration, and the Department of Government Efficiency’s recent downsizing of various federal agencies, headed by Elon Musk.

“There will be a lot of surprises and a lot of made-for-TV moments,” an administration official said.

Trump will also be joined this evening by several guests, including Musk, Marc Fogel, who was imprisoned in Russia, and the family of firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was killed in the attempted assassination on Trump in July 2024.

Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin will provide a rebuttal airing directly after Trump’s speech.

Trump also teased in a TruthSocial post, “TOMORROW NIGHT WILL BE BIG. I WILL TELL IT LIKE IT IS!”

This speech marks Trump’s fifth presidential address to Congress.
