Swift was caught on camera looking visibly stressed during the blowout.
While she has yet to speak out on her partner’s major loss, Kelce told reporters post-game that his Missouri-based team “couldn’t find a spark.”
The tight end, 35, noted, “We haven’t played that bad all year. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad.
“[We] couldn’t get it going offensively,” Kelce continued.
The NFL star’s teammate Patrick Mahomes addressed Kelce’s potential retirement in his own interview that evening.
“I know he still has a love for the game, and he’ll get to spend some time with his family and make that decision on his own,” the quarterback, 29, said.
Kelce has discussed his NFL future on multiple occasions, predicting during a press conference last week that he would “hopefully still [be] playing football” in three years.
His loss comes on the heels of Swift’s own disappointment at the Grammy Awards, with the performer leaving empty-handed despite six nominations.
Kelce was not present at the awards show, instead flying to Louisiana to prep for Sunday’s championship game.
Swift, who has been dating the “Catching Kelce” alum since the summer of 2023, arrived Friday.
After the couple enjoyed a double date that evening with Patrick and wife Brittany Mahomes, Swift went out again on Saturday for a girls’ night.
