‘Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas’ Exclusive Clip: Mae Whitman’s Kate Praises Julian Morris’ Callum As “A Great Kisser”

Will a walk down memory lane prove treacherous or rewarding? Kate (Mae Whitman) and Callum (Julian Morris) begin to find out in DECIDER’s exclusive first look at Episode 4 of Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas.

For those who didn’t tune in for last Friday’s two-episode premiere of Hallmark Channel‘s new miniseries based on Jenny Bayliss’ 2020 novel, The Twelve Dates of Christmas, the series follows Kate, a textile designer who after being signed up by her best friend Laura (Lucy Eaton), begrudgingly takes part in a festive matchmaking service.

Also along for the ride is Callum, Kate’s lifelong best friend who as seen in this exclusive clip, has not forgotten about an intimate moment from their past. In this sneak peek from Episode 4, titled “‘Tis the Season for Mama Drama,” we see Kate hyping up her best friend Callum, pointing out all of his desirable “virtues” like being “a small business owner” and that he “make[s] an incredible oxtail soup,” and of course ragging on him just a little bit.

“You dress like an old professor, but some people are into that,” she teases. “And let’s see, you surround yourself with strong, capable, funny women.”

Things delve into deeper territory after Kate praises Callum as “a great friend” and “a great kisser,” referencing the smooch they shared back in university. Callum’s ears perk up at the latter compliment, as Kate deems him “pretty much the whole package.”

“Great kisser?” Callum asks.

But Kate brushes it off as just “part of the sales pitch.”

“Who can remember? It was like 15 million years ago,” she scoffs.

However, Callum never forgot the moment they shared.

“I can. I can remember that kiss,” he replies. “Kate tell me, when did you and I become a joke?”
