‘The Pitt’ Episode 3 Exclusive Clip: Watch Noah Wyle’s Dr. Robby Pressure Dr. Mohan To Take on More Cases

MAX‘s The Pitt returns this week with an all-new episode set in the chaotic world of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital, nicknamed — you guessed it — “The Pitt.”

The Pitt Episode 3 “9 AM” will pick up exactly where last week’s two-part premiere left off, continuing the fifteen-hour-long shift of Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch (Noah Wyle) and his colleagues. In an exclusive preview clip from this week’s episode, we see Dr. Robby pulling one of the ER’s residents aside to offer some tough love and even tougher professional criticism.

In The Pitt Episode 2 “8 AM,” third year resident Dr. Samira Mohan (Supriya Ganesh) was able to save Joyce (Ashley Romans), a tortured sickle cell anemia patient from being restrained by security officers on her way into the hospital. We’ve only know Dr. Mohan for a few episodes and it’s already apparent that she goes the extra mile in advocating for her patients. It’s a quality that sounds like a good thing for a doctor to have, but Dr. Robby has already taken Dr. Mohan to task for spending too long fussing over her patients while others wait for care in the hospital’s overwhelmed waiting room.

In this exclusive The Pitt Episode 3 clip, you can see Dr. Robby pull Dr. Mohan aside for spending too much time, once again, with her sickle cell patient, Joyce. In the tense conversation that follows, Dr. Mohan admits she knows that her nickname is “Slow Mo,” but she stands by her bedside manner. Dr. Robby still has some…notes. Some withering ones, to be exact.

Check out the exclusive clip above and make sure to tune into new episodes of MAX’s The Pitt on Thursdays between now and April 10.

The Pitt Episode 3 “9 AM” will premiere on MAX tonight, January 16, at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT.
