Texas A&M brutally roasted after unveiling new jerseys

Whose idea was this?

Texas A&M men’s basketball just released new uniforms, which were instantly met with unfavorable reviews by a slew of fans online.

“This has to be fake,” wrote one user on X with multiple crying emojis.

Another user said that the new Adidas-sponsored unis — that include sleeves on the tops and a lone “T” instead of a written-out “Aggies” — look like ones that might be worn by “an English Premier League squad.”

One likened the jerseys to something one might see in youth basketball.

“These unis look like Microsoft Word forgot to load the textures,” wrote the X user. “Player out here looking like he’s hooping in a blank AAU template. Ctrl + Alt + Design, Aggies.”

Someone else asked if they were “sponsored by Hanes” due to the minimalist nature of the jersey.

On a different post about the uniforms, one commenter suggested: “Every single person that had to approve this design deserves to be fired.”

Fans also expressed disapproval under the Aggies’ own post on X that showed off the uniforms, which are expected to debut on Saturday against Arkansas in an SEC matchup in College Station, Texas.

It’s been a strong season for A&M, which sets at 18-5 and is ranked No. 8 in the AP top 25.
