Tubi viewers have been left frustrated by the 2025 Super Bowl livestream, which they say has been glitching and freezing as they try and watch the big game tonight.
While Fox is broadcasting the Super Bowl this year, they’re not the only ones. Tubi, a Fox-owned streamer, is offering a totally free livestream of the Eagles and Chiefs showdown — but it’s not going exactly as planned.
Not even an hour into the game, some football fans are venting about Tubi’s glitchy service on X. The ad-supported streamer is getting plenty of flack online for its first-ever Super Bowl stream, which has been described by some as “freezing, stuttering, and buffering” through the event.
“Tubi is trash,” one wrote, while another tweeted, “Your feed is horrible on my #Samsung TV; somehow fine on my iPad, but that’s behind the live feed by 15 seconds. #SuperBowlLIX#Tubi#Streaming#Freezing.”
One even proclaimed they would never use the free streamer again after tonight’s experience, writing, “Never used #tubi before today. Just wanted to watch the Super Bowl but after this shitty service. Won’t be using Tubi ever again.”
Another said the quality of the stream wasn’t up to par, tweeting, “It took me half an hour to get my tv updated just to get the worst quality stream ever #tubi,” while one viewer shared, “#Tubi timing is off like crazy . Lips are not in sync .”
“So far, the #SuperBowl on #Tubi is the Buffer Bowl…” one quipped.
While plenty of Tubi users are not pleased with the free stream, it’s either Tubi or Fox for sports fans looking to catch all the Super Bowl action this year.
