The Steelers’ good vibes after a crucial win over the Ravens have taken a sudden turn.
The team announced on Thursday that star pass rusher T.J. Watt is in the hospital with a lung issue.
“T.J. Watt is currently in a local hospital for further medical evaluation of his lung after experiencing discomfort at the practice facility on Wednesday,” Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten said on X.
“He will not be at practice on Thursday, and his status for Monday night’s game vs. Miami is in question. Coach [Mike] Tomlin will provide more updates at the appropriate time.”

It is unclear when Watt, who has played in all 13 games this season, initially suffered the injury.
As of Thursday afternoon, Tomlin has yet to address the media.
Watt leads the team with seven sacks, has 10 tackles for loss, an interception and three forced fumbles this season.
Pittsburgh regained control of the AFC North on Sunday with a 27-22 win over the Ravens. The teams were tied for first place at 6-6 heading into the AFC North showdown. Watt, 31, had six tackles in the matchup.
After the “Monday Night Football” game with the Dolphins, the Steelers are at the Lions and Browns before finishing the season at home with a rematch against the Ravens.
