Shocking video shows what it would be like to be eaten by a shark

Shark bait ooh ha ha!

A shocking video recorded earlier this month captured what it would look like to be eaten by a shark.

A group of divers was feeding sharks in the Bahamas on Feb. 9 when one creature bit off more than he could chew, video shared by ABC News shows.

As one of the divers opened a crate of fish food to toss to the animals, one of the sharks continued to snap at the snacks and the diver who appeared to be wearing a camera.

After several bites, the tiger shark captured the diver’s camera in its mouth.

The device kept recording as the fish attempted to swallow the camera getting a close look at its gills and razor-sharp teeth.

The divers, including Andrea Ramos Nascimento, watched in amazement as the fish struggled to get it down and eventually spit it out.

The dive guide then had to chase the creature to retrieve the recording device as it continued rolling.

Tiger sharks are some of the largest sharks being able to grow up to 18 feet long, according to the Florida Museum.

They’re among the “big three,” second behind great whites in the number of attacks on humans.

This video was recorded just days before footage captured the moment a kayaker was swallowed whole by a humpback whale off Chilean Patagonia for a few seconds — before he was miraculously spit back out.

Adrian Simancas was kayaking in the Strait of Magellan in Bahía El Águila last Saturday when the beast emerged from the water and easily devoured the young man and his yellow kayak, according to video incidentally captured by his father, Dell, who was trailing behind.

After he was freed from the whale’s mouth, his father can be heard telling his son to stay calm.

“When I came up and started floating, I was scared that something might happen to my father too, that we wouldn’t reach the shore in time, or that I would get hypothermia,” Adrián said.

He was seen on video swimming in the frigid water over to his father’s kayak and the two were able to safely make it to shore.

“I thought it had already eaten me and swallowed me,” he told the Associated Press.

“Yes, at first I thought I had died,” Adrian added. “It was like, of course, a lot of terror because I thought no, no, there was nothing I can do.”
