Rumer Willis is throwing it back to 1996.
The actress posed for a photoshoot in the same blingy gold bikini that her mom, Demi Moore famously wore in the iconic ’90s film “Striptease.”
Portraying her on-screen daughter, Angela, in the movie, Moore’s eldest child was just 7 years old when she, too appeared the in film. “The Substance” actress, now 62, was 36-years-old at the time of filming — the same age that Rumer is now.
Rumer struck some poses in the two-piece look, pairing it with black platform stilettos and matching sunglasses.
She also appeared to go bare-faced, and wore her blond hair in a side part.
Her daughter, Louetta Isley Thomas Willis, who will turn two next month, made an appearance in a few images, looking adorable in a pink cheetah-printed dress.
In the 1996 movie — which was quite controversial at the time — Moore played Erica, a single mom and former FBI secretary who turns to stripping to pay for a custody battle.
Last September, in an interview with Variety, the Oscar-nominated actress reflected on the backlash around the topless scenes in the movie.
“One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I loved my body,” Moore told the outlet. “The reality is, so much of it was me calling in certain projects that would give me an opportunity to help me overcome insecurities about my body.”
She added that provocative things — “not in a sexual way, but things that provoke meaningful thought” — have always fascinated her.
“There was an interesting kind of judgment placed on a woman who worked as a dancer, but the idea was that this was a woman trying to take care of her child in the best way she could,” Moore said about the film.
Willis joined her mom on-screen, which was actually the second time she starred in a movie with Moore.
The year before “Striptease,” she made her film debut in “Now and Then.”
