Carlos Estévez has a new home.
The All-Star closer inked a two-year deal with a club option with the Royals, The Post confirmed on Wednesday.
Estévez will be paid $10 million in each of his first two seasons in Kanas City and the club option is worth $13 million, according to ESPN’s Jef Passan.
The deal also includes a $2 million buyout.
Earlier this month, “half dozen teams” were interested in Estévez, The Post’s Heyman reported.
Estévez split last season between the Angels and Phillies and had one of the best seasons of his career.
The right-hander recorded a 2.45 ERA in 55 innings, while posting 50 strikeouts.
He had 26 saves and has 82 over the course of his eight-year MLB career.
The closer earned his first All-Star nod in 2023 averaging a career-best 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings.
Estévez spent the first six years of his career with the Rockies before signing a two-year, $13.5 million contract with the Angels.
He was dealt by Los Angeles to Philadelphia at the 2024 MLB trade deadline.
Estévez heads to a Kansas City team that had been looking to shore up the bullpen heading into the 2025 season.
The Royals had turned to Lucas Erceg down the stretch to serve as the closer and bringing in Estévez helps give them more options.
His arrival could see the Royals move Erceg to a spot pitching in the eighth and Estévez being used in the ninth.
John Schreiber, Angel Zerpa, Carlos Hernández and Hunter Harvey are also options for relief work in the late innings.
The Royals are coming off a season where they beat the Orioles in the wild card series before losing to the Yankees, who went on to reach the World Series, in the ALDS.
