‘RHOSLC’ alum Jen Shah wishes her husband a ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ from prison

Jen Shah is proving from prison that she and her husband, Sharrieff Shah, are still going strong.

The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” alum, 51, took to Instagram Friday to write beside a photo of her and her spouse holding hands, “Happy Valentine’s Day and happiest birthday to my amazing husband.”

“Even from miles away, my love and gratitude for you are stronger than ever,” she added. “Thank you for sticking by my side and never letting go of my hand. I Love you, Jen ❤️”

Sharrieff, 54, does not appear to have Instagram so he was not tagged in the post and he did not respond to the sweet message online.

Jen’s birthday wish for her husband was belated as his date of birth is Jan. 29. However, the reality star was likely unable to post sooner since she is incarcerated at Bryan Federal Prison Camp in Texas.

In January 2023, she was sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison for wire fraud after she defrauded thousands of people out of money, mainly the elderly, in a telemarketing scheme.

All throughout the trial, Sharrieff was supportive of his wife and even wrote a letter to the judge pleading for leniency in her sentencing, claiming her actions were in part due to him being away from home a lot.

“Because of my absence, I was not able to see how badly my wife was suffering,” the football coach wrote in documents obtained by Page Six in December 2022.

“As I think about it now, I saw her spending more time in our bedroom alone. She often fell asleep in out children’s bed waiting for me to come home. She would constantly tell me that she feels so alone.”

Jen and Sharrieff have been married since 1994: They share two sons: Sharrieff Jr., 30, and Omar, 21.

Despite the former “Housewife” being behind bars, the couple has put on a united front, with Sharrieff giving her fans frequent updates on social media, including how she spent her 50th birthday.

However, last November, an excerpt from “RHOSLC” star Heather Gay’s second book, “Good Time Girl,” alleged that the coach once tried to kiss Jen’s former friend Monica Garcia.

“Supposedly, they agreed to meet up in the parking lot of a gas station and, according to Monica, the exchange quickly turned romantic,” the memoir reportedly states.

“She claims he tried to kiss her, but she pushed him off, saying, ‘We can’t.’ Sharrieff got out of the car and immediately left.”

Gay, 50, claimed that no one believed Garcia, 39, given her track record of lying, but the latter denied ever telling that story in the first place.

“I have never said that Sharrieff Shah and I kissed nor has there ever been anything romantic or physical between Sharrieff and I,” Garcia previously told Page Six.

“To so carelessly write such untrue and damaging allegations in permanent ink at the expense of others for financial gain is deplorable and sick.”

A rep for Jen and Sharrieff also denied the allegations at the time, telling People, “Coach Shah has never had or attempted to have a romantic relationship with Monica at any time.

“Both my clients Jen and Sharrieff Shah have ignored the continuous attempts for bait by Monica and others for storyline.”

Jen is set to get out of prison earlier than expected as her release date was reduced a third time in January. She is now due back home in Utah on Nov. 3, 2026 ahead of Thanksgiving.
