Patrick Mahomes raised eyebrows by sporting Philadelphia Eagles colors as he arrived at Caesars Superdome for Super Bowl 2025 on Sunday.

Mahomes –– who had his game face on –– added a dark green tie light green accents, yellow Oakley sunglasses and gold bedazzled shoes.
The three-time Super Bowl champion, 29, set social media ablaze with his controversial fashion choice.
“Patrick Mahomes showing up in Eagles green is diabolical,” Barstool Sports podcast “Bussin’ With The Boys” wrote on X.
“Patrick Mahomes is pulling off the ultimate power move: He’s wearing a green suit to the Super Bowl #Eagles #ChiefsKingdom #SuperBowl,” CBS Sports reporter John Breech added.
Barstool Sports personality Dan Katz called the quarterback “cocky,” but conceded, “Have to respect it.”
“Mahomes outfit choice is the behavior of a true psychopath and I fully support it,” sports commentator Nick Wright shared on X.
Another user commented, “Patrick Mahomes is such a troll oh my GOD 🤣 this man knows exactly what he’s doing.”
One person commented that he had to “give Mahomes respect,” adding, “this is pretty funny.”
“Oh man…Mahomes wearing green?! He is dialed rn,” someone else added.
Mahomes wore the outfit ahead of a possible historic matchup, since the Chiefs will be trying to snatch their third Super Bowl in a row.
The athlete’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, supported her husband by wearing an all-white look featuring a denim corset, cropped jacket and jeans.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model brought two of the couple’s children –– daughter daughter Sterling, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze,” 2 –– to cheer on Patrick as he warmed up on the field before kickoff.
Their newborn daughter Golden Raye did not join the family on the field, but Brittany previously shared that the little one will watch the game from their private suite.
