Patricia Gucci wants $28K/month for Palm Desert compound

A sprawling Southern California desert pad, decked out by a Gucci heiress, is up for grabs — if you’ve got $28,000 a month to spare.

Tucked away in Palm Desert, roughly 25 miles south of Palm Springs, this 4-acre oasis reportedly got a major glow-up in the ‘90s from Patricia Gucci, daughter of Aldo Gucci and granddaughter of the fashion empire’s founder, Guccio Gucci.

The compound has been bouncing between for-sale and for-rent signs since 2012, once sporting a $9 million price tag, according to listing records.

Don’t let the map fool you — this place looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but it’s a quick 11-minute zip to Palm Desert’s bustling strip, packed with eateries and swanky shops.

Driving to the property, “it feels like you’re going through Mars,” Michelle Schwartz, the listing agent from The Agency, told Mansion Global, which first reported on the listing. “It’s a total retreat. You have peace, remoteness, security, safety, but it’s a lot closer [to town] than people give it credit for.”

Schwartz is co-listing the property with Adrienne Herkes at The Agency. The estate hit the rental market in late February.

She is keeping mum on who’s unloading it, but the landlord’s clearly got wanderlust.

The current owner “is a world traveler, and she’s collected energy and vibes from all different parts of the world and put them together into this property that she’s been part-time living in for all these years,” Schwartz said.

The setup screams global chic, with Moroccan-style wall cutouts, plaster finishes and a Greek-inspired built-in bed in the master suite.

Perched in a gated nook of the Santa Rosa Mountains, the compound boasts a main house plus two guest cottages, dishing out 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a hefty 10,800 square feet.

Each guest house has its own kitchen.

Amenities include a tennis court and a pool that come with Coachella Valley vistas, thanks to its prime spot high on Bighorn Mountain.

“It’s almost like you’re on top of the world,” Schwartz said. “And oftentimes, you can see bighorn animals. It’s a very natural setting.”

At that altitude, it stays about 10 degrees cooler than the scorching desert floor — perfect for surviving summer.

Available for short-term rentals, it’s timed just right for the spring festival rush, think Coachella and Stagecoach.

Schwartz sees it as a creative goldmine, too.

“It’s somewhere you can think. You don’t hear anything — there’s no cars, there’s no noise,” she said. “You’re close enough to everything [in town], so you can have the nuances of everyday life and modern living, but you’re completely removed once you’re here, and you can breathe.”

Patricia Gucci, who launched the luxe travel bag line Aviteur, did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
