I wrote a post awhile back on making a prayer Bible and I did a little walk through of some of the pages I did. Since then I’ve added some more themes so I want to share what themes I have so far.
I used plastic triangle paper clips to use as tabs since that’s all I have. I apologize the picture is a bit dark.
Blue=Peace
Purple=Temptation
Light Green=Fear
Green-God’s Provision
Orange = Spiritual Warfare and Caution
Yellow= Healing includes physical, mentally and emotionally
Pink= Biblical Womanhood
Gold-Purity
I want to add a red tab for scriptures dealing with bitterness and unforgiveness. That’s huge one for me. One I’m not proud of.
I don’t plan on doing a whole new prayer Bible for 2026. I know there are ladies who create a new one each year but I’m content with this one and it serves me well. When I first heard about prayer Bibles I was suspicious at first because I thought it was some wild crazy thing that women were doing. It wasn’t until I watched several YouTube videos from trusted sisters in the Lord I learned it was about praying Scripture over our loved ones, our nation, our leaders, ourselves, etc.
Now obviously, you don’t have to have a separate Bible for praying Scripture but I have found it easier to have a separate Bible with themes and the verses related to your themes highlighted.
