To celebrate another year around the sun, the “Stranger Things” star transformed into a mermaid, rocking long blond fishtail braids and an ocean-green sequined dress, complete with a starfish.
On Wednesday, Brown shared the splashy look via an Instagram video with the caption, “thx for the bday wishes… hi 21 💞”
In the clip, the actress sits in front of a heart-shaped cake when someone out of the frame puts clear square-shaped sunglasses on her head.
From the other side, another person lights a candle while it’s in her mouth, which she then places on the seashell and sand-covered cake.
At the end of the video, Bobby Brown mouths the lyrics “except for the fact it was my birthday, my stupid birthday” in an original audio of Aly and AJ’s 2007 “Potential Breakup Song.”
“Happy birthday queen!” Halsey said in the comment section.

Brown surprised fans earlier this month when she debuted the dramatic platinum blond hair transformation.
However, it’s not the first time she’s traded her signature dark brown tresses for the light shade.
At the “Enola Holmes 2” premiere in October 2022, the Florence by Mills founder arrived with blond hair in a voluminous updo.
The “Stranger Things” star’s husband, Jake Bongiovi, 22, wished her happy birthday on Instagram, captioning a photo of the two posing in front of the mirror, “Happy 21st baby. I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
The couple, who started dating in 2021, got hitched at a small, intimate ceremony in May 2024.
Four months later, the newlyweds threw a lavish Italian wedding at the breathtaking Villa Cetinale in Tuscany.
