Tippi Hedren is 95!
Melanie Griffith shared a rare video of her mom celebrating her milestone birthday Sunday.
“My beautiful Mama turned 95 yesterday!” the “Working Girl” star wrote on Instagram Monday, telling her followers that the retired actress is “happy, healthy and feisty!!”
In the accompanying clip, Hedren blew out the candles on her cake before waving to the camera.
Fans and friends of the “Birds” star flooded the comments section of the post to celebrate her special day.
“Gorgeous!” Demi Moore wrote.
“Go, Tippi!!!!!” Rita Wilson commented.
“Wow!!!! So beautiful !!! Happy birthday!!!” Kyle Richards added.
Griffith, 67, is Hedren’s only child with her first husband, advertising executive Peter Griffith, to whom the legendary movie star was married from 1952 to 1960.
She was later married to talent agent Noel Marshall from 1964 to 1982 and businessman Luis Barrenechea from 1985 to 1992.
Hedren first rose to fame as a model in the 1950s and transitioned to acting in the early ’60s after being discovered by Alfred Hitchcock, who directed her in “The Birds” and “Marnie.”
She is also known for her work as an animal rights activist.
