Meghan Markle wears sweet necklace in new As Ever brand announcement

Meghan Markle’s newest necklace has a sweet meaning.

While announcing that she’s renaming her American Riviera Orchard brand to As Ever, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, debuted a tiny heart-shaped necklace.

The bauble comes from The Gold Album, designed in partnership with Kelly McKee Zajfen, 44, Markle’s longtime friend and a heart ambassador at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Per the product description, 15 percent of sales from the bespoke heart of gold pendant ($3,200) will go to treating children at the hospital and help provide “a family-centered, child-friendly environment.”

Though the piece is customizable, Markle appears to have worn a style with the letters “G” and “L,” paying tribute to Zajfen’s children, daughter Lily and her late son, George.

The royal repurposed her red bustier Carolina Herrera gown for the evening, while Zajfen wore a light purple ruffled dress.

She expressed her appreciation in an Instagram post with Markle following the event, writing, “I was also beyond grateful to share in this beautiful evening with one of my closest friends.”

She continued, “Meg, your commitment to supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and community is truly inspiring. I’m so grateful to have you by my side. ❤️‍🩹”

Markle isn’t The Gold Album’s only celebrity client — Gwyneth Paltrow owns the meaningful necklace, too.

In her Instagram post yesterday, the duchess wore her heart-shaped jewelry with a breezy white linen blouse and classic blue jeans.

She revealed that her long-awaited lifestyle brand will be called As Ever — not American Riviera Orchard, which she first announced in March 2024.

“‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always,’” Markle said in the caption.

The royal continued, “This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.”

Markle added that she’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes tidbits as they gear up to launch the label.
