Loyal bodega guy goes viral on TikTok for taping customer’s former ‘situationship’ with another girl

This bodega guy isn’t just selling tea – he’s spilling it.

East Villager Alyssa Brewer went viral on TikTok this week for revealing she gets updates on her former fling from her local bodega’s employee, who documents him coming into the store with other women.

The blonde beauty posted a TikTok video of Numan Hauter, who works at Stuyvesant Gourmet Deli on 14th Street and Avenue A, showing her a video he captured of the man she dated for three weeks when he showed up at the store with another girl.

“Any time he walks in with another girl, Numan’s all up in his face, taping him and sending it to me. It’s so funny,” Brewer, 24, told The Post.

“When I came in here and told him that I went viral, he was like, ‘I’m famous!’ and the other bodega guys overheard me and said, ‘People have been coming in here, saying, ‘We saw the TikTok.’”

The Charleston, SC native captioned the clip — which now has more than 13 million views — “My bodega guy is so loyal he started documenting any time my old situationship comes in with another girl.”

The post got close to 6,000 comments, many from New Yorkers who loved seeing the pair’s friendship.

“People who’ve never lived in New York will never understand the critical & sacred bond with your bodega man,” one wrote.

“No greater bond than a girl and her favorite bodega guy,” another added.

“That’s not a bodega guy, that’s family,” someone else gushed.

7-Eleven’s official TikTok page even took notice, commenting, “Brb. Updating our store policy right now.”

Brewer said her ex “situationship,” which was “casual enough to not have boyfriend, girlfriend titles,” knows he’s being filmed by Hauter, but is unbothered by it.

“He was just like, ‘That’s so funny that he’s that loyal to you,’” she said.

A mutual friend set her up with the 25-year-old, who also lives in the East Village — and on their first date, they realized they both frequented the deli.

They also both knew Hauter, who befriends the twentysomethings that come into the store after a night of partying, since his shift begins at midnight.

“But he knew me better,” Brewer added.

On their second date, the pair stopped into the deli to say hello to him.

“Numan definitely thought it was more serious, just because I came in with a boy, which I never do,” she said.

Her relationship ended up “mutually fizzling out” after just a few weeks — but Hauter still took it upon himself to keep Brewer abreast of any new females in his life.

“I never asked him to do that, that’s why it’s so funny,” said Brewer, who visits the deli on most Friday and Saturday nights and orders their chopped cheese.

“He just did that out of loyalty and our friendship. We have such a close bond.”

Other sites such as New Yorkers — whose repost of Brewer’s video garnered close to half a million views — also shared it — and after it exploded online, Brewer got a text from her short-lived dating partner, which said, “Congrats on going viral.”

“He’s shocked that it went so viral, but I purposely didn’t show his face, so no one could tell who it was,” she noted.

Brewer, who works as a sales exec for a biotech company, has also been inundated with messages from men asking her out.

“I’ve been asked out on a lot of dates from it,” she said.

One memorable message she received was “I’ll be your new situationship.”
