Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s relationship is going stronger than ever, with the reality star appearing by her boyfriend’s side at nearly every awards show this season.
While the “A Complete Unknown” actor is a fashion star unto himself, the couple love to amp up their sartorial power together, sometimes coordinating their looks in a subtle way, including at the BAFTAs 2025.
While Jenner and Chalamet both wore black to the British awards show — with the former in a vintage 1995 John Galliano sequined gown and the latter in a double-breasted Bottega Veneta suit — it was their blinged-out jewelry that really made a statement.
The actor, 29, accessorized his monochromatic black look with a stunning diamond, onyx and emerald Panthère de Cartier necklace that retails for a whopping $205,000.
He added a ring with the famous jewelry brand’s iconic panther motif, worn on his pinky, while Jenner wore the exact same design on her right ring finger.
The bauble, which goes for more than $42,000 on the resale market, shows the big cat stretched out in a wrap design with the same combination of diamond, onyx and emerald stones.
Expert Maxwell Stone of retailer Steven Stone Jewellers told Page Six Style, “Black onyx is often seen as a symbol of strength, protection, and resilience, believed to absorb negative energy and promote inner stability and confidence.”
“For Timothée, who is currently in the spotlight and up for major awards for two highly anticipated films, this symbolism feels especially fitting,” he continued. “As he navigates the pressures of award season, the grounding energy of black onyx could serve as a subtle yet powerful emblem of focus and determination.”
Jenner also had her own Panthère accessory, adding a pair of earrings in the same shape, and piling on even more diamond studs in various cuts.
The matching moment also holds a deeper significance for the Kylie Cosmetics founder and her beau, who have been together for two years.
At the start of their relationship in 2023, the “Kardashians” star, 27, was spotted wearing a symbolic Cartier Trinity ring and necklace, wrapped around her wrist as a bracelet, leading fans to believe that she could have been borrowing from Chalamet’s jewelry box.
Chalamet has been an ambassador for the French luxury brand for years and often wears Cartier pieces — including the necklace Jenner later flaunted.
The signature Cartier three-band design dates back to 1924 and “has become a symbol of life’s most paramount relationships” in the decades since, per the jeweler’s website.
And, recently, fans joked that Chalamet has been dipping into Jenner’s closet, or even that of her six-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, when he stepped out wearing a tiny Chanel flap bag in Paris last month.
While the New Yorker and his girlfriend can sometimes be spotted in mismatched vibes, with Jenner going for more glamorous and voluptuous outfits while Chalamet keeps things more funky and casual, we can’t wait to see what they pull out for the Oscars 2025 red carpet next month.
