Joe Rogan slams Democrats for ‘not course correcting’ after Trump’s victory

Popular podcaster Joe Rogan tore into Democrats for refusing to “course correct” in the months after President Trump won victory in the 2024 election.

During Monday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan trashed traditional left-leaning media personalities and politicians, saying the Democratic Party would continue “shedding people” until Dems learned to connect with voters.

“They’re not course correcting at all,” Rogan said during a conversation with comedian Bridget Phetasy. “They’re saying stupid sh-t. It’s all nonsense.”

“We don’t trust The New York Times. We don’t trust The Washington Post. We don’t trust CNN or MSNBC,” Rogan continued. “They’re all full with propaganda, and so that’s why the internet rose. It’s not because there was some sort of a f-cking right-wing conspiracy, heavily funded.”

Rogan, who interviewed President Trump the month before the election, compared the Democratic Party’s loss to a buffalo jump – an ancient Indigenous practice where hunters would draw buffalo to the edge of a tall cliff, push them over and collect them at the bottom.

“They’re [Democrats] going to go off the cliff. There’s no way they’re not,” Rogan said.

Rogan blamed left-leaning media outlets for the disconnect with voters.

“You guys f-cking suck, and you’re not real people. Nobody wants to hang out with Brian Stelter,” the host said, slamming the longtime CNN reporter. “None of these people are people that people can relate to and like.”

Rogan also blamed the “state-controlled mainstream media” that showed journalists from different outlets sticking to the same “narrative.”

“They all said it in step, so you could watch different programs repeat the exact same words, exact same phrases,” Rogan said.

Rogan’s podcast episode with Trump raked in more than 55 million views on YouTube, and symbolized the president’s turn to alternative media.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump’s opponent, was criticized for not going on Rogan’s show.

Rogan denied claims made in a new book from NBC reporter Jonathan Allen and The Hill correspondent Amie Parnes that he thwarted Harris’ efforts sit down for an interview.

In “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” Harris campaign insiders said Harris created a campaign stop in Houston just to be near Rogan’s studio in Austin, Texas.

Rogan’s team told the campaign that he was unavailable for a personal day – when it was actually the same day Rogan interviewed Trump, according to the book.

“This whole idea that we f-cked her over and we f-cked her over for Trump – incorrect, just not true,” Rogan said on his podcast earlier this month. “This is how it worked: Trump was really easy to book.”

“We have all the receipts, by the way,” he added.
