Jason Kelce admits Taylor Swift has played a major role in helping his brother, Travis Kelce, grow up over the last few years.
While appearing on Tuesday’s episode of the “Fitz & Whit” podcast, the former Philadelphia Eagles athlete was asked “how much [Travis] has grown up in the last three years” by co-host Ryan Fitzpatrick.
“It’s been staggering, honestly,” Jason quickly replied.
Fitzpatrick chimed in to say that he was at Travis’ home three years ago when there was only a basketball hoop and a pool table in his living room.
“One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up, like, he was like Peter Pan, and like, the Lost Boys,” Jason, 37, said.
When asked if Travis is “growing up now,” Jason immediately responded, “For sure.”
“It’s changing, and I think that sometimes, you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you, and that’s a good thing,” Jason said.
The Super Bowl champion reiterated that “there’s no question” Travis has evolved while also keeping his young energy.
“Trav, he is growing up. He’s still, though, got that youthful enthusiasm,” he explained. “I think he’ll kinda always have that, it’s just part of his personality, and I think it’s one of the reasons every teammate has loved playing with him and anybody that’s ever met Trav, you can’t help but just love the guy.”
He continued on, calling Travis “a free spirit in the best possible way.”
Although Jason didn’t specifically mention Swift by name, she’s been dating Travis for almost two years and has played a significant role in his life.
The Kansas City Chiefs athlete, 35, previously made a lifestyle change when he purchased a $6 million mansion in Kansas City to give him and Swift, also 35, more privacy in October 2023.
The 17,000-square-foot property, which includes a waterfall, swimming pool and mini golf course, sits inside a gated community.
Travis snagged the property amid his blossoming romance with the “Cruel Summer” singer.
The couple have been going strong ever since. They were most recently spotted at Super Bowl 2025 earlier this month and are now taking some time off to relax after the Chiefs lost to the Eagles.
