Can you believe we’re about to celebrate 50 years of Saturday Night Live?! NBC is not only airing a primetime 50th-anniversary special on Sunday, February 16, but a recently announced Radio City Music Hall show, SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, will stream live on Peacock on February 14.
The SNL social team has been working overtime to commemorate the show’s historic anniversary. If you head over to Saturday Night Live’s official Instagram page, the account is uploading new clips for their “50 Seasons in 50 Days” campaign. I recently rediscovered a classic sketch from Season 17: “Mr. Belvedere Fan Club” starring Tom Hanks. It’s 100% worth a watch.
