Joe Gatto is facing another accusation about his alleged bad behavior.
First, a TikToker claimed last week that the 48-year-old “Impractical Jokers” alum sexually assaulted her in 2023. Gatto denied the accusation but admitted he “used poor judgment.”
A second woman has since come forward accusing Gatto of acting inappropriately towards her when she worked for him before he left “Impractical Jokers” in 2021.
The unnamed person told People in an article published Sunday that she met the comedian at one of his live shows when she was 15. She claimed that once she turned 18 “his behavior shifted” and he became very flirtatious.
During the woman’s time working with Gatto, he allegedly occasionally inappropriately grabbed her, asked for back massages, and frequently asked about her sex life. Gatto also allegedly once invited her to his room and asked her to cuddle.
Gatto, per the woman, would allegedly brag about being in an open relationship with his wife, Bessy. The couple, who share two children, separated in 2021 but reconciled two years later.
The woman also claimed Gatto would respond to her social media posts and call her “hot.” Additionally, the comedian allegedly got jealous when the employee posted pictures with her boyfriend.
When she rejected Gatto’s advances, he allegedly was rude to her at work, the woman claimed, noting that she feared he would fire her.
One time on a work trip, Gatto allegedly grabbed the woman’s upper thigh in a hotel elevator. She promptly moved across the elevator, she claimed, while Gatto allegedly told her he “knew” he would make her uncomfortable on the trip.
The woman further claimed that in the office, which was a two-bedroom apartment, Gatto frequently joked about bringing girls up the freight elevator so they could avoid the lobby. The former employee said those comments reminded her to of the TikToker’s claims about Gatto.
The Post has reached out to Gatto’s rep for comment.
On March 20, TikTok user Joozyb claimed she was sexually assaulted by Gatto when she was 19 years old in 2023.
She claimed they met at one of his shows in Milwaukee in September 2023, and shared screenshots of the pair’s alleged DM exchanges on Instagram, where Gatto allegedly invited her backstage. Joozyb also posted a photo of her and Gatto together.
Joozyb claimed that after the show Gatto started putting his Instagram messages on vanish mode. She said that in those messages, he allegedly told her how to get to his hotel room, where the alleged assault occurred.
In one of her TikToks, Joozyb showed off a bruise on her backside and wrote, “Yes, he did S.A me. Yes, he had JUST gotten back together with his wife. I’m sorry you guys don’t want to hear it, but…”
In a statement to Page Six on Saturday, Gatto said, “I have used poor judgment and as a result have violated the trust of the people I love most. But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone.”
He added, “Working on myself is an ongoing process, and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.”
