The tournament has moved to Boston, where Team USA will take on Sweden, who have yet to notch a win, tonight. No matter the result, they’ll play in the final game of the tournament on Thursday against Canada, who secured their spot in the final after a 5-3 victory earlier today.
The United States will play today’s game without Matthew Tkachuk, who has been a major part of the team’s offense thus far. Due to a lower-body injury, he’ll sit today so he’s ready to play in Thursday’s final; New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider will play his first game of the tournament in Tkachuk’s place.
