‘How f—king stupid is that’

Ain’t no plane ride long enough to keep him from getting to food.

As if people didn’t already go to ludicrous lengths for clicks, a Texas influencer has been roasted mercilessly after flying 1,600 miles to NYC — for a sandwich.

The fly-in foodie chronicled his questionable “hero’s journey” in a video eliciting facepalms across Instagram.

“If I flew to New York tomorrow for a sandwich, how f–king stupid is that?” Leo Skepi asked his 1.1 million followers in a viral clip posted Monday.

He said he got the for the “adult field trip” after his sister told him about Lenwich, a Big Apple institution that’s blown up recently due to its Caesar Wrap.

“Everyone get your permission slip!” Skepi declared. “That’s an adult field trip.” Instagram/leoskepi

The deli nosh, which costs $13.99, features a fairly spartan assortment of grilled chicken breast, parmesan cheese, romaine lettuce, croutons and a Caesar dressing. There’s also a Picante Caesar wrap that’s virtually identical save for a healthy sprinkling of jalapenos and a spicy dressing.

While this sandwich may seem milquetoast, TikTokkers have been making pilgrimages from all over to get a bite.

And despite warnings from TikTokkers — some of whom dubbed the sub shop “overrated” and called this a “bad financial decision” — Skepi decided it was a wrap.

He put his money where his mouth his and booked three tickets from Dallas to the Big Apple for himself, his sister and his cousin.

“There’s one that lands at noon and another flight that leaves New York at 5pm, so we’d have enough time to leave the airport, get the little chicken salad wrap, whatever the f–k, get a bunch of them, and then get back on the plane and go home,” declared the salivating content creator. “Everyone get your permission slip! That’s an adult field trip, but I’m telling myself that it’s for my sister. I’m going to do it for her.”

“It’s worth it,” he added. “F–k it, let’s book it.”

In a follow-up clip filmed ahead of his 7 a.m. flight, Skepi showed how he even got gussied up a chic, all-black outfit so he could “look cute for my sandwich.”

“We just pulled up at the mother f–king restaurant,” the foodfluencer excitedly told the camera in another video taken at a Lenwich branch located in the Flatiron District.

Skepi then tucked into their quarry, which included at least two Caesar Wraps, both regular and picante. Also in the haul were a chimichurri sandwich, a box of fries, and two Lenwiches, a hero with pastrami, corned beef, swiss cheese, coleslaw and Thousand Island dressing.

After trying the main attraction, which he modified to have no croutons, the Texan claimed that it was “good” but noted that the spicy and original versions weren’t all that different.

“If you come, get the classic one,” recommended Skepi, who packed four other sandwiches in a duffel to go.

In fact, the influencer loved the noshes so much that he couldn’t resist ripping into one on the way home from the Dallas airport.

“Gimme one of them sandwiches,” demanded Skepi in his final sandwich diary. He gave the wrap tens across the board, before wondering how it was still so good after the plane ride.

Instagram commenters were overjoyed that the dish seemed worth the trip, which would’ve cost the trip upwards of a thousand dollars, including ride shares, food and plane tickets, the Daily Mail estimated.

“Best adult field trip I’m inspired,” gushed one, while another wrote, “I enjoyed watching this journey. May we all learn to take day trips like you.”

“Welp… happy to report, this series was worth it,” quipped a third. “Please include the post-trip conversation with your nutritionist.”

However, others were less enthused. “Lenwich”???!!!! There are way better sandwich places in nyc!” lamented one naysayer.

Another wrote, “Lenwich aint all that. My deli around the corner is better and cheaper.”

“Help me be financially able to take a sandwich flight plz,” said a third.

However, Skepi’s not the only influencer who, to tweak a Meatloaf line, will do anything for “lunch.”

Over the summer, chocoholics went viral after traveling across the world to eat a special bar that’s only available in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
