The Issue: The return of Kfir and Ariel Bibas and their mother, Shiri, after being brutally murdered by Hamas.
Words cannot possibly describe the savagery perpetrated by Hamas on an innocent mother and her two children, one being an infant (“Monsters,” Feb. 22).
Despite the monstrous killing of these innocents, the worldwide support for this gang of evildoers will not diminish. After all, the victims were Jews. The world will once again soon forget.

This should be a lesson to all the high-school and college students, educators and administrators who thought supporting Hamas was hip or a form of free speech.
No person has the authority to take a life. This demonstration shows the highest level of barbarism and hatred with no regard for humanity.
Let this be a warning of what terrorist groups and their leaders think. How despicable of them to parade those bodies into the streets.
We as people need to teach our youth about not being deceived by religious fanatics who glamourize their agenda citing some moral justification.

Leaders in Israel recently screamed about the “barbarous cruelty” of Hamas, because they murdered the two hostage Bibas children.
However, neither the far-right Israeli government nor the so-called “independent” press took the time to mention the thousands of young Palestinian children who have bled out under the rubble of Gaza.
Such political propaganda asks its hearers to see the loss of the lives of Israeli children, and unsee the loss of the lives of Palestinian children.

While living hostages and Israeli bodies remain in the hands of terrorists, we are reminded of the brutality of the Oct. 7 attack by the murder of the Bibas children.
These children were not IDF soldiers. They were killed by animals funded by Iran and supported by assorted antisemites in the United States and abroad because they were Jews.
Sadly, Hamas, though weakened, appears to survive, as do its sponsors. Hopefully, with President Trump’s support, a decisive end will be achieved.

The Issue: Gov. Hochul’s meeting with Rev. Al Sharpton on whether to remove Mayor Adams from office.
It makes no sense at all that Gov. Hochul met with the Rev. Al Sharpton concerning the worsening political situation with Mayor Adams (“Kat’s Questionable Consigliere,” Editorial, Feb. 20).
Sharpton is not a politician, and should have no input whatsoever regarding this issue.
Ever since the Tawana Brawley debacle back in 1987, when he tried to make a name for himself, Sharpton has continued to open his mouth about everything, and what he says amounts to nothing but a lot of hot air.
He is the last person that the governor should be speaking to about any type of politics. He needs to not involve himself in anything political in our city.
Hochul should be meeting with people from the City Council concerning the problems with Mayor Adams, not Al Sharpton, the windbag who talks nonsense.

Hochul, probably the worst governor New York has ever had, met with so-called leaders of New York City politics to discuss removing the mayor. Who the hell do these people think they are?
I would not ever consider these people to be leaders. Their positions have gone to their head. Since when is Al Sharpton a leader in this city? Give me a break.
