I shared the video The Old Rugged Cross this morning and that was going to be my Good Friday post and would post again tomorrow. But right now my heart is in pieces. There will be people who attended Good Friday services at “churches” that teach false doctrine and will not hear about why Jesus died on the cross for our sin. Instead they will be treated to a feel good Ted Talk on how they will receive a blessing from God if they “sow a seed” of some ridiculous amount of money into their “ministry”, God is going to bless them with a new house in the next thirty days. And yes I’ve seen clips of these charlatans saying this. I don’t understand why people stay in these ungodly churches. Its obvious they don’t read and study their Bibles because if they did they would know their pastor is a false teacher. In many cases they don’t want to know the truth. They want their ears tickled because they want to stay in their sin. I’ve been praying (though I confess not faithfully) for a particular church that I’m convinced is lead by the worst false teacher in Atlanta. I really fear for this man and wife because they are both heretics and they have been warned about their heresy. Please pray for people who are in heretical churches and that their eyes will be open and will leave and find a church that teaches solid Biblical truth. No church is perfect of course but there are good ones out there.
