Toyloy, who stood at 6-foot-8, hailed from West Palm, Florida, and transferred to Cincinnati after spending two years at Miami Dade College playing at the junior college level.

He averaged 3.6 points and 3.5 rebounds during his time with the Bearcats, while appearing in 67 games and starting 29 of them.

Toyloy was fifth on the Bearcats during his senior season in Cincinnati and averaged 15.7 minutes per game that year.

Following the end of his tenure at Cincinnati, Toyloy went on to play basketball professionally for Istanbulspor in Turkey.

He also spent time playing professionally in Brazil and Malaysia, where he was the MVP for the MPL in 2019.

Toyloy was returning to the MPL as recently as 2023, according to a social media post by basketball writer Jordan Yap in November of that year.

“Four years ago, Toyloy led Farmcochem to break the championship curse, marking the first team to achieve consecutive titles in the millennium. Now, he has signed with UCSI Rising Star, and fans are eager to see if he can help the team make a run for the championship,” he wrote at the time.

No further details about his death were made public.
