Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are celebrating their love.
The former talk show host, 67, and the actress, 52, who wed in 2008, celebrated 20 years together on Thursday.
DeGeneres posted a photograph of her and de Rossi’s shadow on Instagram, captioning the sunset shot, “20 years together. Happy to be with you everywhere and always.”
In December, the couple acknowledged the day they started dating, with DeGeneres penning a heartfelt message to her wife.
“20 years ago today we began this relationship not realizing what a long beautiful adventure this would be,” she wrote beneath the Instagram pic. “You are the best thing that ever happened in my life. You take care of me. You help me see the good in everything. You help to guide me and pick me up when I feel off or down.”
“You are a beautiful soul that I am so very grateful to have as a partner to navigate this crazy life with. My wife. My best friend. The love of my life,” gushed DeGeneres. “Thank you for being you and loving me. So happy we get to travel and explore the world together in the next 20 years, and looking forward to our first snowy Christmas.”
Leaving fans with an update after moving to the UK, she added: “P.S. for those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood.”
DeGeneres and de Rossi fled the US in November, following Donald Trump’s election win.
The comedian and the “Arrested Development” alum put their Montecito, Calif., mansion on the market in an attempt to start over abroad, insiders told The Wrap.
Separate sources revealed to TMZ that the pair decided to “get the hell out” of the country immediately after Trump’s victory over former Vice President Kamala Harris, which left them feeling “very disillusioned.”
DeGeneres and de Rossi will likely “never” return to the US on a permanent basis, the insider added.
Shortly after their move across the pond, the stand-up was spotted rocking brunette hair over her signature blonde, as seen in a video shared to The Farmer’s Dog’s Instagram page.
“What a great night in the pub with @thecorrsofficial,” the caption read. “The way a good pub night should be … acoustic set, a few drinks, great friends.”
As the two continue to enjoy life in England, de Rossi gave the love right back to her partner in January, writing on Instagram, “My darling wife! You continue to amaze me and inspire me. Happy Birthday to the strongest, sweetest, most brilliant person I know. I’m so lucky to be standing next to you as we share this incredible life together. I love you.”
