Die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan Kylie Kelce revealed she will be rooting for the men in green in Sunday’s Super Bowl — despite brother-in-law Travis Kelce being on the other sideline.
On Friday, Kylie told “Good Morning America” she is “feeling anxious” and “slightly conflicted” leading up to the big game.
“I’m so excited for Travis but ultimately I gotta go with my roots,” the Pennsylvania native, 32, said. “Go Birds.”
While Travis and his Kansas City Chiefs are vying for their third-straight championship, the Eagles took home the Lombardi Trophy in 2018 — their first and only Super Bowl win.
Kylie’s husband, Jason Kelce, was notably on the Super Bowl-winning roster. The legendary center, 37, played 13 seasons with the Birds before announcing his retirement ahead of the 2024/2025 season.
While Jason has remained somewhat neutral ahead of Sunday’s match-up, Kylie has always stayed true to her team.
The “Not Gonna Lie” podcast host made headlines last year over her “continued refusal” to wear Chiefs gear even after the Eagles were knocked out of the playoffs.
“I mean, I just can’t do it,” she told USA Today Sports, via Philly’s Fox 29, ahead of last year’s Super Bowl. “I will cheer on Travis every single day of the week, forever, but I won’t wear Chiefs stuff.”
In fact, her Eagles loyalty runs so deep that she previously stated that if her husband ever was traded to another team, she would refuse to wear any of the team’s merchandise unless it specifically had Jason’s name on it.
Despite their differing allegiances, the couple — who have been married since 2018 — will still watch the game alongside their family and friends — including the tight end’s girlfriend Taylor Swift.
However, Kylie revealed earlier this week that their three daughters — Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 23 months — will be supporting their uncle from “home.”
“The logistics of travel, school and childcare were just too overwhelming, Kylie told Today. “They don’t also really watch football in a way that they would enjoy being in the stadium for the duration of the Super Bowl.”
The podcast star, who is pregnant with her fourth child, also revealed the little ones will wear “Go Uncle Trav” shirts.
“They love their uncle,” she told listeners. “And, of course, they love cheering him on. … He is our family, and I want to make sure that the girls feel included.”
However, she said the girls love “cheering on the Birds too.”
