Dozens of people were injured Saturday when a ski lift collapsed at a resort in the Spanish region of Aragon, according to local reports.
At least nine people sustained serious injuries, and another 80 remain trapped on the damaged chairlift at the ski resort Astun.
Horrifying footage showed the victims below the damaged lift, with skis and poles scattered across the snow.
“All necessary services are working to care for affected and injured people,” Aragon President Jorge Azcon said on X.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
