Donald Trump, spotted for first time ahead of second Inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump was seen for the first time Monday as he kicked off his Inauguration Day festivities with a prayer service at St. John’s Episcopal Church.

The soon-to-be 47th president set off for the church in a motorcade after emerging from Blair House, the president’s official guest residence, after 8.30 a.m.

The incoming commander in chief was flanked by his wife, Melania, for the worship service at Lafayette Square.

He was spotted smiling and raising his fist as he arrived at the church.

After the service, the Trumps will meet President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden at the White House for a customary tea reception.

The two men and their spouses will then head to the Capitol in a joint motorcade ahead of his swearing-in at noon.
