Compared to other duvet covers I’ve tried — namely, the FluffCo Hotel Duvet Cover ($119 to $129) — Cozy Earth’s Bamboo Duvet Cover is fluffier, warmer and more breathable. Certainly, this comes with a higher price point, but I find it’s 100% worth it for the bedding you’ll be sleeping in each night.

Bamboo is naturally temperature-regulating and I find that I’m always breathable and, most-of-all, “hotel-fluffed.” I didn’t think the insert for my duvet cover would necessarily make a difference but boy, was I wrong.
Aside from its brand-wide sustainable practices, its bamboo fabric is naturally resistant to wrinkles and fading, so it maintains its luxurious appearance and softness over time with minimal maintenance. It’s machine washable, though you don’t have to wash it too often; the duvet cover is what requires more frequent attention.
In years past, I’ve scored the cheapo $30 comforter from Amazon and I couldn’t stand how much it pilled and how it never looked photogenic (not that I’m taking pictures for a home magazine, but I digress). Every comforter I’ve previously used had this quilted, too-puffy look that wasn’t at all breathable. Though an investment, the Cozy Earth Bamboo Viscose Comforter will last for years and can be inserted into any same-size duvet cover you fancy, standing the test of time should your design aesthetic change.

Unlike many other blankets that can feel too warm (like the Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Blanket) or too heavy (like the Bearaby Cotton Weighted Blanket), the Cozy Earth Cuddle Blanket is light yet cozy, offering just the right amount of plushness for a relaxed, snug experience. However, it isn’t quite as large as some other blankets I’ve reviewed, like my all-time favorite Snug Bed Blanket from Sunday Citizen ($185 to $198). How I tested
After growing my Cozy Earth collection for more than four years, below is the testing criteria I kept in mind for each item:
