Chiefs vs. Eagles odds, picks

Travis Kelce never fails to show up in the Super Bowl.

The Chiefs’ tight end has had some of the biggest games of his career in the Big Game.

Despite talk of a decline from Kelce over the past couple of years, I’m expecting Patrick Mahomes to connect with his favorite target plenty of times once again on Sunday.

In four Super Bowls throughout his Hall of Fame career, Kelce is averaging 7.75 catches per game.

He’s been only slightly worse during his 24-game playoff career, averaging 7.25 catches.

In the AFC title game against the Bills, Kelce had a playoff career-low two catches. I’m willing to give him a mulligan on that game and bet on a bounce-back performance.

Oddsmakers are also giving Kelce a pass and expect he will be an integral part of the Chiefs’ plan Sunday, with -144 odds on him tallying at least six catches.

He’s had at least six catches in all four of his Super Bowls, including nine in last year’s 25-22 overtime win over the 49ers.

Kelce tallied six catches for 81 yards and one touchdown in the 38-35 win over the Eagles in Super Bowl 2023.

The veteran has also been much more productive overall than popular narratives would make you believe.

Betting on the NFL?

After bringing in just nine passes through Week 3, Kelce has 100 receptions in the 16 regular-season and playoffs games combined since that point.

Let’s see if Kelce and Mahomes can pull off another vintage performance in their pursuit of a three-peat.

The play: Travis Kelce 6+ receptions (-144, FanDuel Sportsbook)
