Hello friends! I want to share my thoughts about Homespun Devotions Volume 3 by Cheryl Smith. I have reviewed Volume 1 and Volume 2 both which I loved. Like in her previous books each day has a verse of the Bible (KJV) followed by a short devotion. this volume however has a recipe at the end of each chapter. There are 50 chapters with 50 recipes.
The devotions themselves are very encouraging. My favorite is a seven part of the book is called A Virtuous Woman Series. The titles of each day’s devotional are:
Forty Tough Questions
A Virtuous Wife
The Hats We Wear
Beauty on the Inside
Guiding the House
Care of Heart and Home
Compassion
I enjoyed going through those chapters because anything involving Biblical womanhood captures my attention.
