Blake Lively nervous about ‘SNL 50’ outing amid Justin Baldoni drama

Blake Lively had mixed emotions about her red carpet return.

A source told People that the actress, 37, was “nervous” about attending the “SNL” 50th anniversary special with husband Ryan Reynolds on Sunday, which marked the couple’s first red carpet appearance since the start of their legal battle with Justin Baldoni.

But the insider also said that Lively was still “excited to be out with friends and support ‘Saturday Night Live,’” which she hosted back in 2009.

“They had a great time,” the source shared about Lively and Reynolds, 48. “It was nice getting out of the house and being around friends and familiar faces.”

“They stayed after the live show wrapped and mingled in the studio and were talking with everyone from Ben Stiller to Paul McCartney,” the insider continued. “They spent time talking with Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson too. Blake also chatted with Dakota Johnson.”

Lively was also seen on video hugging Amy Schumer, who expressed public support for Lively after the “Gossip Girl” star filed her sexual harassment complaint against Baldoni, 41, in December.

“I believe Blake,” Schumer, 43, wrote on her Instagram Story on Dec. 22.

The night before the special, Lively and Reynolds took a picture with “SNL” alum Chevy Chase at Chris Rock’s 60th birthday party in NYC.

The Post has reached out to Lively’s rep for comment.

During “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” Reynolds alluded to the drama with Baldoni during a segment where Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took questions from the star-studded audience in Studio 8H.

“Ryan Reynolds, how’s it going?” Poehler, 53, asked the “Deadpool” star, who stood up from his seat next to his wife and quipped, “Why? What have you heard?”

Lively sued her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director at the end of last year, accusing him of sexual harassment and orchestrating a public smear campaign against her.

Baldoni, who has denied all Lively’s accusations, countersued her and Reynolds, alleging defamation, extortion and more. Lively and Reynolds have denied Baldoni’s claims.

Lively got support from her “It Ends With Us” co-stars Brandon Sklenar and Jenny Slate, as well as the book’s author, Colleen Hoover, when she made her initial claims against Baldoni.

On Dec. 23, Sklenar, 34, posted a link to the New York Times article that outlined Lively’s sexual harassment claims. Baldoni has since filed a lawsuit against the newspaper for $250 million for libel and false light invasion of privacy.

On Monday, Sklenar appeared on “CBS Mornings” and was asked about the legal battle.

“I just want people to remember why we made the movie and what it stands for. That movie meant so much to me,” he said. “I have someone very, very close to me in my life who’s gone through what Lily’s going through for a long time and I’ve been on the front lines helping her navigate that space, so that movie meant a lot to me and it means a lot to her, this person in my life.”

He continued, “Me doing that film gave her the strength to change her life. Yeah, it means a lot to me. It’s unfortunate that things get taken away from what the ethos of that thing is, it gets convoluted.”

When Gayle King asked him if he’s “team Blake” or “team Justin,” Sklenar nervously laughed and responded, “I’m team ‘It Ends With Us.’”
