Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s relationship will be just fine during his transition to college football as the head coach of North Carolina, according to People.
Things are reportedly “serious” between Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 24, who have a “solid” relationship.
“Bill will put his all into the new coaching job which he is very excited about,” one source told People. “But Jordon is also a busy woman with a lot going on. So I don’t see this doing anything but enhancing their solid relationship.”
Another source said that while Belichick is “serious” about his relationship with Hudson, a former cheerleader, there are no immediate plans for marriage.
“I think Bill is not in a rush to marry again at this time in general,” the second source said.
Belichick’s and Hudson’s relationship was made public in June.
They are said to have started dating after his split from Linda Holliday, which was reported in 2023.
Hudson supported Belichick when he was introduced as the new head football coach of UNC last Thursday.
The former pageant queen was seen sitting next to Millie Lombardi, the wife of Michael Lombardi, who is the new UNC GM.
Hudson shared her excitement for Belichick — who signed a five-year deal with UNC — in a message on her Instagram Story after the news became official.
“We are onto Chapel Hill!!!” she wrote, a nod to Belichick’s “We’re on to Cincinnati” press conference from a decade ago.
It came a week after the couple made their first red carpet appearance together at The Museum Gala in New York City on Dec. 5.
Belichick to UNC marks his first coaching job since he parted ways with the Patriots in January after 24 seasons and six Super Bowl titles.
Belichick is expected to remain on “Inside the NFL” as an analyst for the remainder of this football season.
Belichick is expected to continue his “ManningCast” appearances on Monday night next season.
