Happy month of March dear friends! Well as usual I have to apologize for not posting. I just finished a six week The James Method verse mapping course which has been a little more intense than I expected. The word study part is more involved than the way I learned a few years ago. I did enjoy the class though.
We focused on a a few of the seven I am statements by Jesus in the book of John:
I am the bread of life – John 6:35
I am the light of the world -John 8:12
I am the gate -John 10:9
I am the good Shepherd John 10:11
I am the resurrection and the life John 11:25
I am the way, the truth and the life- John 14:6
I am the grapevine John 15:1
The other class I’m doing is Hebrews study using material from Kay Arthur. The lessons are lengthy in my opinion but I really like what I’m learning. I find it interesting that we don’t know who wrote Hebrews and why his identity was never revealed to us. The epistle seem to indicate the author was in prison and that Timothy was with him and had been released. (Hebrews 13:23)
So with these two classes I haven’t had time to post or get us much reading of Little Women as I wanted. I’m starting chapter 5 and I discovered as I read there are things I had forgotten from the last time I read the book awhile back.
There is another book about the March girls called Good Wives but someone had commented on I believe Amazon that its more of a summary of Little Women so I’m undecided if I want to buy it sometime. I have Little Men and Jo’s Boys and I think it would be nice to have the complete series.
Well I had started post yesterday (March 4th) in honor of the March sisters as they “march forth” with whatever comes their way. I had to stop witing to go make dinner and play some games with my family and guest that over after dinner. I ended up completely forgetting to come back here.
