Daisy Kelliher ended Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 with a romantic prospect: deckhand Keith Allen. While they did bring their boat-mance to shore, Kelliher revealed on Monday night’s (Jan. 27) episode of Watch What Happens Live that they are no longer seeing each other.
During a game of “Relation-SHIP Happens,” Kelliher told host Andy Cohen that her interest in Allen “grew” as they got to know each other. Still, she had very little expectations that they would go the distance — that is, until their relationship actually continued after filming.
However, the beloved chief stew said they “never made it official” and that they are no longer dating.
“We dated for a year. It was long distance,” she said. “It wasn’t ever very serious, but yeah, we were in each other’s lives for a year. And yeah, unfortunately it ended because of distance.”
Kelliher — who said her first kiss with Allen was a “highlight” of Season 5 — described their relationship as a “situationship,” noting, “We had an amazing time. It’s always sad when something ends.”
Below Deck Down Under star Aesha Scott, who joined Kelliher on Watch What Happens Live, wondered if they ever talked about moving for one another.
“No. It was never at that kind of capacity,” Kelliher answered. “He’s gone onto boats, I live in London. I finished my career in the Caribbean, that’s where he is. So unless he was moving over to Europe it was never [going to work].”
Kelliher might’ve ended her yachting season with Allen, but her Below Deck Sailing Yacht co-star Gary King admitted he was still holding out hope for her.
“I don’t believe it,” Kelliher said of her Season 3 situationship, before later adding, “I believe I was always an idea that he envisioned.”
