Like father, like son?
Arnold Schwarzenegger teased his son Patrick Schwarzenegger’s nude scene in Season 3 premiere of the “White Lotus” after attending the star-studded premiere in Los Angeles on Monday.
“What a show!” the “Terminator” actor wrote on Instagram Tuesday alongside a photo of his son. “I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say — the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
“Don’t miss it this Sunday — trust me,” Arnold, 77, continued.
The former California governor previously posed sans clothes for a magazine photoshoot in 1970, and the photo was later published by Spy Magazine in March 1992, according to Essentially Sports.
Despite public backlash, Arnold stood by his decision to have his nude photo during an interview on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” later that year.
“Why would I get upset about the nude photograph that I posed for an artist for, for a sculpture? I’m not embarrassed,” the actor said, per the outlet. “I have nothing to hide.”
The former politician also notably appeared without clothes for the 1984 movie “Terminator” and the 1991 film “Terminator 2: Judgment Day.”
Patrick, meanwhile, responded to his dad’s awkward comment about the scene via X, writing, “Parents,” with two facepalming emojis.
Arnold, along with ex-wife Maria Shriver and their three other children, Katherine, 35, Christina, 31, and Christopher, 27, were all in attendance at Monday night’s premiere.
Katherine’s husband, Chris Pratt, and Patrick’s fiancée, Abby Champion, attended as well.
Pratt was overheard at the event saying he and Katherine would likely skip the afterparty and head home to their 3-month-old son and their two other children.
The forthcoming season of “White Lotus” will premiere Feb. 16 on HBO Max and stars Patrick, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey and Michelle Monaghan.
Filming for the series took place last spring in Thailand, and paps caught a peak of Patrick, 31, taking a break from his busy filming schedule.
At the time, Patrick was spotted soaking up the sun on a beach with Champion.
In January 2024, producers announced the model would be starring in the third installment of the comedy-drama show weeks after he proposed to Champion.
