The NHL offered the Rangers’ tough guy Matt Rempe an in-person hearing for his hit on Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen that cut short what had been a good game for the young forward.
Rempe was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct after he drilled Heiskanen from behind into the boards and his elbow came up on the hit.
