“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” In the age of social media it seems many people just don’t know when to just hush their mouths. There was a time when people obeyed the rule ” If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” I see so much back-biting and name calling online I wonder if some of the people on Instagram for example, are actually children! They certainly brhave like it. I almost feel like I’m reading a script from the original 80s nighttime soap opera Dynasty!😲
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue” Proverbs 18:21. All of will be held accountable to God for the words we use. May we all use our words (and our fingers on social media) to be an encouragement to others around us.
