I didn’t know what title to give this post because I have much on my mind. I haven’t made much progress with Little Women and I was tempted to just put it away. I decided I won’t because though I’ve read it before I really like the story.
I’m looking at other books I want to read for spring and possibly into summer. I have a huge TBR pile but I’m thinking I will thin it out to about three or four books. We shall see. One book for sure I want to read is The Gospel According to Jesus Christ by John MacArthur. Its been in my pile for awhile so I will be excited to read it.
Today is the last day of Women’s History Month. I feel like it should be just canceled permantly because what’s the use of having it when mentally ill men who insists they are women are actually being acknowledged as women? It just doesn’t make sense.
I wrote a few weeks ago about my Bible study and that we are going through the book of Hebrews. Oh boy! I must say, Hebrews is very interesting. Its a good study and the study questions causes me to dig deeper into the scriptures to understand what the writer is trying to say. I use my commentaries, Webster 1828 dictionary app and my Bible dictionary. I just love spending time in God’s Word.
I do have a prayer request. I’ve mentioned in the past about prayer Bibles and following Jessica of The Sisterita Club. Well she announced on her channel a couple of weeks or so ago she has Stage 4 colon cancer. We are all shocked to say the least. As a matter of fact a few days before she found out, she had filmed a video of her making a prayer Bible for her friend who is battling breast cancer not even knowing she herself has cancer. So please keep her in your prayers. You can follow her on her YouTube channel called The Sisterita Club so you have updates on her cancer journey.
Speaking of prayer Bibles I’m planning on redoing mine. The plastic color paper clips are nice but they tend to slip and I don’t have enough clips to add another theme. I’m going to buy some sticky tabs from Amazon which will look nicer and my prayer Bible won’t be so bulky.
Well I guess that’s it for now. I don’t know when I will be able to post again. I hope to post later in the week. I admire you ladies who post regularly. I really admire those who do a post everyday challenge.
